In short

An app built with Bubble costs, as a guide, from a few hundred euros for a simple prototype up to €3,000–5,000 or more for a full product with payments, user roles and automations. On top of that comes the Bubble plan, from $0 to around $350 a month depending on usage. The final price depends on your project: screens, integrations and number of users.

Indicative ranges to build an app with Bubble

These ranges come from projects we have built with Bubble. They are not fixed prices: two apps with the same number of screens can cost very differently depending on the logic behind them.

Type of appWhat it usually includesIndicative range
Prototype to validate an idea2–3 screens, sign-up, simple database€200 – 500
MVP with integrations5–6 screens, API connections, admin panel€500 – 3,000
Full productUser roles, payments or subscriptions, automations, notifications€3,000 – 5,000 or more

What you pay Bubble every month

Bubble charges separately from whoever builds the app. You can build for free, but to go live on your own domain you need a paid plan. Paid web plans range from about $29 to about $349 a month billed annually, and the Enterprise plan is negotiated.

Each plan includes an allowance of workload units (the server capacity your app uses). If your app grows a lot you can buy more or pay for overages, so it pays to start on a lower plan and move up when usage requires it.

What pushes the price up or down

When two Bubble quotes are very different, it is almost always because of one of these:

  • Number of user types and permissions (customer, admin, supplier…).
  • Payments and subscriptions (for example with Stripe).
  • Integrations with other tools through APIs.
  • Automations and notifications (emails, alerts, reminders).
  • Custom design versus an adapted template.
  • Importing and cleaning existing data.
  • A native mobile version for the App Store and Google Play.

Real examples we have built with Bubble

Eye Industry is a B2B ophthalmology marketplace with seven user roles, filtered directories, an engine that matches manufacturers with distributors, and paid subscriptions. That is the kind of project that sits at the top of the range.

Other projects, such as a digital business card platform or attendance and payroll software, sit in the mid-to-upper band. You can see every case study, with features and timelines, on our projects page.

Bubble or custom code?

Bubble fits when you need to validate an idea fast, launch an MVP or build an internal tool without a team of developers. It is usually cheaper and faster to build than an app coded from scratch.

Custom code makes more sense once you have many users, need very high performance or very specific technical requirements. Many companies start on Bubble and only migrate when the business justifies it.

How not to overpay

Before asking for quotes, prepare this:

  • A short list of what the first version must have (and what can wait).
  • Examples of apps you like.
  • Who will use the app and roughly how many people.
  • The tools it needs to connect to.
  • Ask for the quote to separate the build from Bubble's monthly cost.

Ranges are indicative: the final price depends on your website, your project and what you need. We give you a fixed quote after a free call.
